A fashion show for Star Wars fans, count me in! It seems that Star Wars and the 1970s were the influences for the Shay Todd runway show at Mercedes Benz Fashion Week in Miami. All the models sported Princess Laia braided hairstyles and 70′s inspired looks, which included glam cover ups, drapey cowl necks, and muted earth tones.

 
The 2012 Resort and Swimwear show was held at a glamorous mansion on Miami Beach’s exclusive Pine Tree Drive, that was kept top secret until guests confirmed their attendance. Only 100 editors, socials and celebs, were lucky enough to be on the list. Maria Menounos, host of Access Hollywood, was among the lucky few to be on the list, along with her pal Adrienne Bailon.

 
Backstage, Maria Menounos told the designer how excited she was about the Shay Todd hip hugging bathing suit bottoms that closely resembled her favorite hanky panky underwear brand. Menounos then showed off some skin lifting her little black dress to expose her hip hugging underwear for the designer to see.
